There’s this old saying, “Happy Wife, Happy Life”. But some recent research casts some doubt on that.
When they looked at 901 mixed-gender couples, it turns out that neither gender has more influence on the happiness in the relationship.
This should encourage us. That there aren’t any tricks, that no one has an outsized influence on the happiness of the relationship. That relationships can’t be tricked or short-cut.
That both are important.
